In 2016, Margaret adopted three-year-old Phoebe, a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, from Joyrides Rescue in Houston, TX.  Margaret wanted a good companion dog, but had no idea what a great companion Phoebe would be.

Phoebe not only visits nursing homes and hospitals, but also attends most workshops Margaret conducts.
​
So far, Phoebe is trained in Electrical Hazards, Chainsaw Safety, Chipper Safety, Aerial Rescue, Aerial Lift, Crew Leader, PHC, Ground Ops, Stump Grinder safety, and First Aid-CPR.  We suspect she is bilingual, as well.
