In 2016, Margaret adopted three-year-old Phoebe, a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, from Joyrides Rescue in Houston, TX.  Margaret wanted a good companion dog, but had no idea what a great companion Phoebe would be.

Phoebe not only visits nursing homes and hospitals, but also attends most workshops Margaret conducts. She loves traveling, whether it's a 30 minute drive to "Grandma's," a flight to Michigan, or days-long road trips all over the country.​

So far, Phoebe is trained in numerous safety and science topics, Certified Arborist Prep, and First Aid/CPR.  We suspect she is bilingual, as well.
